SAFARI CLUB INTERNATIONAL
Since inception, Safari Club International (SCI) has become a truly amazing organization, now with approximately 190 chapters worldwide and is recognized as a world leader in wildlife conservation and education programs. SCI has invested nearly $300 million on hunter advocacy and wildlife conservation since its early beginnings. The growth of the organization in both hunter advocacy and conservation led to a strategic decision to separate the two efforts into separate businesses in 1999: Safari Club International, a 501( c )4 hunter advocacy organization, and Safari Club International Foundation, a 501( c )3 charitable organization.
Since 2000, SCI has spent $140 million on protecting the freedom to hunt through policy advocacy, litigation and education for federal and state legislators to ensure hunting is protected for future generations. The passion of SCI members is reflected in the doubling of expenditures in the last decade to accomplish these goals. Since 2000, SCI Foundation (SCIF) has provided $47 million to conservation, wildlife education, and humanitarian programs around the world.
Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch strongly supports SCI. Oak Creek donated the Pathfinder Rut Hunt to SCI for the 2012 annual convention and exposition because we believe that our support of SCI, as well as those of hundreds of other donors, is the best way to ensure that our hunting heritage is preserved.
Oak Creek’s donation is a 100% donation to Safari Club International with all funds raised going to SCI so please know that the funds raised from your bid will be fully utilized for SCI’s’s important work.

SCI PATHFINDER HUNT
The SCI Pathfinder Hunt is a very special auction as the buyer of the Pathfinder Hunt makes it possible for two disabled young hunters to experience the thrill of the hunt and the joy of a high quality outdoors experience.
Two young hunters who have overcome their physical challenges and who possess the desire to shoot a trophy Whitetail, will join the auction winner for the Hunt of A Lifetime on a spectacular hunt at Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch.
The hunt will be filmed for an episode of SCI’s top rated TV show, Expedition Safari, hosted by Mike Rogers, Jr. This is a great opportunity for an SCI member to participate in and be a part of this tremendous humanitarian program.
Winning bidder will have a chance at deer like these!
Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch is the only place where the opportunity to shoot a 250” to 350” whitetail buck is a common...almost an everyday occurrence...as the SCI Record Books attest to. Oak Creek accounts for 11 of the Top 15 Midwestern Typicals and 11 of the Top 15 Non-Typicals in the world.
Eight (8) huge Whitetail bucks over the magical 300 inch mark were taken on the ranch in 2009 & 2010, including a 355-5/8 current #1...a 346-7/8 pending #2...a 324-2/8 pending #3....a 321-2/8 pending #5...a 318 4/8 pending #6...a 318-3/8 pending #7...a 317-6/8 pending #8 and a 310 pending #9 SCI Midwestern Non-Typicals of all time.
Several more stunning deer, just under 300,” were also taken in 2010...including the pending #11, 293” Non-Typical, pending #12 Non-Typical, 290 7/8”... and a 285-5/8” buck with double drops, ranking at #15 SCI.
One of our hunters harvested a magnificent 212-7/8” SCI Typical buck with a bow...the new #3 Typical over-all...AND the #1 Archery! Another hunter took a superb 183” slick 8-point that was 25 inches wide and then followed up that feat, taking a clean 211-3/8” buck...the new #4 SCI Typical! Not a bad hunt!
In the past two years Oak Creek has produced the SCI Midwestern overall #1 Typical Rifle, #1 Non-typical Rifle, the #1 Non-Typical Muzzleloader, the #1 Non-Typical Handgun, the #1 Typical Handgun, the #1 Non-Typical Archery and the #1 Typical Archery record book bucks of all time.

Two-Tiered Auction Format
On-Line: For those of you who are not able to attend the SCI Convention in February and participate in the live auction, we are offering the opportunity for you to bid in the Oak Creek On-Line Auction ahead of the Safari Club International Convention which will be held at the Mandalay Convention Center in Las Vegas, February 1-4, 2012.
Live Auction: If you have never taken part in the Live Auctions during the Safari Club International Convention you owe it to yourself to participate in the awesome auction. These events are like none other in the outdoor world. Millions of dollars in high end merchandise, firearms and hunts are auctioned to raise needed funding for Safari Club International’s worldwide hunting and game conservation initiatives.
On-Line Auction Procedure
Beginning August 10, 2011, bids for this spectacular hunt will be accepted by Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch by phone or e-mail.

The On-Line bidding will cut off on January 20, 2012, at which time the highest on-line bidder will be notified by Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch. The winning On-Line Auction bidder will be asked to “stand by” on Friday evening, February 3, 2012, for a call from Donald Hill or an auctioneer on the Live Auction floor in Las Vegas.
Live Auction Procedure
Bidding for this hunt will reopen, Friday night, February 3rd, 2012 at the Safari Club International Live Auction.
Following the bidding at the Live Auction, the On-Line bidder, if his/her bid is higher than the Live Auction bid, will win the hunt.
If the Live Auction bid is higher than the On-Line bid, the On-Line bidder will be called from the auction floor and be given the opportunity to bid up.
Both the Live Auction bidder and the On-Line bidder will be given full opportunity to bid up.
Highest bidder takes all!
