Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch is proud to partner with the Houston Safari Club...donating the Super 8-Point Hunt at Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch to the Houston Annual Convention Auction for the second year in a row!
Oak Creek’s Super 8-Point Hunt is offered exclusively to a HSC bidder. Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch has taken some of the largest deer in the world in the past few years, including a number of huge main frame 8-pointers in the 170 to 200 inch range that are the envy of the hunting world.

HOUSTON SAFARI CLUB
Houston Safari Club, established in 1972, is a volunteer non-profit conservation, education, and sporting rights advocacy organization based in Houston, Texas. With a large and influential membership, Houston Safari Club works diligently to preserve the sporting heritage, support wildlife conservation, and promote education both locally and throughout the world.
Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch is a strong supporter of HSC for these reasons. Oak Creek is donating a Super 8-Point Hunt to Houston Safari Club’s annual convention and exposition for the second year in a row based upon last year’s huge success with this auction item. We believe our support of HSC, as well as that of hundreds of other donors, is the best way to ensure that our hunting heritage is preserved.
Oak Creek’s donation is a 100% donation to Houston Safari Club with all funds raised going to HSC so please know that the funds raised from your bid will be fully utilized for HSC’s important work.

Super 8-Point Hunt at Oak Creek

NOTE: In the past two seasons several huge main frame 8-point bucks
were taken at Oak Creek, including a 233-3/8” SCI by Larry Weishuhn,
a 192” SCI, a 183-4-8” SCI, and a 206” SCI. Huge 8-points are the
holy grail of Whitetail hunting...the kind of bucks any deer hunter would be
proud to hang in his or her trophy room...and Oak Creek has the most
impressive big 8-pointers in the world.
The Hunt Itself
When: The hunt can be scheduled for any time during the 2012 season
Length of hunt: 3-day, fully guided, 1 X 1 for one hunter
Included: full accommodations at Oak Creek’s 9,000 sq. ft. lodge for one hunter and
one none hunter, meals, license, guide, field prep of trophy
Method of take: rifle, handgun, archery or black powder

Two-Tiered Auction Format
On-Line: For those of you who are not able to attend the HSC Convention in January and participate in the live auction, we are offering the opportunity for you to bid in the Oak Creek On-Line Auction ahead of the Houston Safari Club Convention which will be held at the Woodlands in Houston, January 13-15, 2012.
Live Auction: If you have never taken part in the Live Auctions during the Houston Safari Club Convention you owe it to yourself to make the Saturday night auction. These events are like none other in the outdoor world. Millions of dollars in high end merchandise, firearms and hunts are auctioned to raise needed funding for Houston Safari Club’s worldwide hunting and game conservation initiatives.
On-Line Auction Procedure
Beginning August 10, 2011, bids for this spectacular hunt will be accepted by Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch by phone or e-mail.

All bids will be duly recorded.
The On-Line bidding will cut off on January 1, 2012, at which time the highest on-line bidder will be notified by Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch. The winning On-Line Auction bidder will be asked to “stand by” on Saturday evening, January 14, 2012, for a call from Donald Hill or an auctioneer on the Live Auction floor in Houston.
Live Auction Procedure
Bidding for this hunt will reopen, Saturday night, February 14, 2012 at the Houston Safari Club's Live Auction.
Following the bidding at the Live Auction, the On-Line bidder, if his/her bid is higher than the Live Auction bid, will win the hunt.
If the Live Auction bid is higher than the On-Line bid, the On-Line bidder will be called from the auction floor and be given the opportunity to bid up.
Both the Live Auction bidder and the On-Line bidder will be given full opportunity to bid up.
Highest bidder takes all!

Payment
This is a 100% donation to Houston Safari Club by Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch.
If you are the on-line auction winning bidder, payment via check or credit card should be made directly to the Houston Safari Club and mailed to Oak Creek at the address below no later than January 5th.
